About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning, with a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to extract meaningful insights.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout all stages of analysis.
  • Design and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and measure business impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design.
  • Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data processing and model deployment.
  • Advanced degree (PhD) in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
