Job Description

Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Denver, Colorado, USA Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and drive continuous improvement in our network systems.Key Responsibilities:- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.- Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.- Manage network hardware and software upgrades, patches, and backups.- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.- Collaborate with IT and business teams to support new projects and initiatives.- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior team members.- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware.- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, switches, and routers.- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Skills:- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).- Knowledge of VoIP, QoS, and network automation tools (Python, Ansible).- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.Company Culture & Benefits: We foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where innovation and professional growth are encouraged.
