DevOps Engineer

Seattle, WA (On-site/Hybrid)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and will play a key role in automating, optimizing, and scaling our infrastructure and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code, security, and monitoring.
- Document processes, configurations, and architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
