Quality Engineer

Summary:

Assist with the Plant operations quality support, respond to the assigned model(s) / line(s) quality issues and concerns reported internally or externally (supplier or customer), responsible for understanding the nature of the issue, investigate the root causes and develop the temporary and permanent countermeasures by using appropriate resources and tools.

  Education/Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years in Automotive manufacturing quality engineering-related experience or Associate degree with eight (8) years in Automotive manufacturing quality engineering-related experience.

• Strong written and oral communication skills, computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and medium to strong Excel skills desired.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

• Three (3) or more years of experience in the automotive environment is desired.

• Knowledge of quality core tools.

• Experience in interacting with the plant management, the operations teams, other supporting functional teams, and customers with prompt responsiveness.
