Senior AI/ML Engineer (Production Systems)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in financial services to design, build, and operate end-to-end machine learning systems. In this role, you will architect real-time fraud detection pipelines and automated dispute resolution platforms. You will be responsible for tasks ranging from fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and building Named Entity Recognition (NER) pipelines to model serving, workflow orchestration, and production database architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and scale self-hosted LLMs using vLLM for high throughput and low latency.
- Build governance layers for multi-model routing, PII guardrails, and regulatory audit logging using frameworks such as LiteLLM.
- Architect and maintain real-time fraud detection pipelines and automated dispute resolution platforms.
- Fine-tune and optimize LLMs and NER pipelines for production use.
- Oversee model serving, workflow orchestration, and production database architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant ML solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production ML systems for performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, preferably within financial services.
- Proven experience deploying and scaling LLMs and building NER pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of vLLM, LiteLLM, and related frameworks.
- Experience with real-time data processing, workflow orchestration, and production database systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data privacy best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
