About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, QA, and IT teams to automate processes, streamline deployments, and ensure the stability and performance of our cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and security.
- Automate operational tasks and improve system reliability through scripting and configuration management.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
- Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- Experience with Docker and container security.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
