We are seeking an experienced and visionary Design Manager to lead and scale our design team. The ideal candidate will combine strong design expertise with leadership and strategic thinking to drive high-quality design outcomes, ensure consistency across products, and align design efforts with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers (UI, UX, Graphic, or Product Designers).
• Define and drive the overall design strategy and vision aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end design processes from research to final delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions.
• Establish and maintain design systems, standards, and best practices.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on design work.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, and resource allocation.
• Advocate for user experience and design excellence across the organization.
• Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative design practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in design roles with 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design expertise across digital products.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, design systems, and user-centered design.
• Experience managing and mentoring design teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product or SaaS companies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with design operations (DesignOps) and scaling design teams.
• Advanced degree or certifications in design or leadership is a plus.
