Job Summary
A Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing patient care, administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and supporting doctors in medical procedures. Nurses play a critical role in promoting health, preventing illness, and ensuring patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ health conditions and record medical histories
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist doctors during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
- Provide wound care and manage infections
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to plan patient care
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
