Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation, security, and infrastructure management to support scalable and reliable business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, reliability, and cost.
- Manage cloud networking, storage, compute, and security services.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployments.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
- Maintain cloud architecture documentation and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or similar IaC tools.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Understanding of networking concepts, security groups, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Experience with serverless technologies and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards.
