Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation, security, and infrastructure management to support scalable and reliable business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Manage cloud networking, storage, compute, and security services.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployments.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
  • Maintain cloud architecture documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or similar IaC tools.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security groups, load balancers, and VPNs.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Experience with serverless technologies and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards.
