Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Performance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure our applications and systems meet high standards of speed, scalability, and reliability. This is a remote position based in New York, NY, USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, and stress tests for web and backend applications.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend performance improvements.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to optimize system performance.
• Develop automated performance test scripts using Python and other relevant tools.
• Monitor application performance in production and proactively address issues.
• Document test plans, procedures, and results for internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with relevant certifications preferred.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar).
• Solid understanding of system architecture, cloud platforms, and web technologies.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Additional certifications in performance engineering or cloud technologies.
