Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL and Excel, and a proven ability to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL and Excel.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business solutions.
• Document business processes, workflows, and recommendations.
• Support project management activities and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is desirable.
