Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence in daily living and work-related activities. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy to improve functional abilities and quality of life.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities to determine functional limitations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on daily living and independence
Provide therapeutic activities to improve mobility, coordination, and self-care skills
Train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and rehabilitation strategies
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and care teams
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation
Experience Requirement
Experience as an Occupational Therapist
Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or outpatient settings preferred
Exposure to geriatric, neurological, or post-acute patient populations is a plus
