Position Overview
The Payroll Specialist will manage and execute payroll processes for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. This role is ideal for someone with deep payroll expertise and a strong understanding of manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees using ADP
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to verify employee data and benefit deductions
Address employee inquiries related to payroll, timekeeping, and tax documentation
Generate payroll reports and support internal and external audits
Stay informed on changes in payroll laws and best practices
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
