Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, SQL, AWS, and Spark, and a passion for building robust data pipelines and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Optimize and manage data storage, retrieval, and distribution using AWS cloud services.
• Implement data quality, validation, and governance best practices.
• Work with large datasets using Spark and other big data technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with Spark for big data processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with additional data tools and frameworks is a plus.
