Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and personable Medical Receptionist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working at a healthcare front desk and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take messages as needed
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and maintain accurate records
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation
• Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth office operations
• Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and scanning

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare front desk role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Proficient with office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
