Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build scalable, reliable, and user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
• Monitor application performance and improve scalability, reliability, and security.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Contribute to technical documentation and development processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, C++, or Go.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
• Understanding of REST APIs and software development principles.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET, or Django.
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of automated testing and DevOps practices.
