Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Chelsea, Manhattan. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence three days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning, with a passion for solving complex business problems using data-driven approaches. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that drive business value and enhance our AI-powered recruiting platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and inform business decisions.
• Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics and automation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data science and AI.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years preferred) as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and advanced analytics.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., R Programming, Machine Learning, SAS Certified Base Programmer).
• Experience in the HR tech, recruiting, or talent intelligence industry.

• Competitive salary range: $120,000 – $200,000, commensurate with experience.
