About the Role
The Test Technician, Intermediate at SPECTRAFORCE in San Diego, CA, is responsible for executing test methodologies, troubleshooting issues, and providing feedback on test plans. This on-site internship position offers an hourly wage ranging from $22.70 to $28.35.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute and help implement improvements to test plans, providing feedback to customers on modifications, outcomes, or issues.
- Select specialized test equipment, perform set-up, and load and run complex programs or builds.
- Perform complex calibration, maintenance, and upgrades of test equipment and tools according to standards and procedures.
- Identify issues with test equipment and perform complex repairs.
- Manage the execution of test methodologies for various technologies, adapting established procedures based on unique testing needs, and document results.
- Identify, debug, and troubleshoot complex testing issues or failures, recommend root causes, and implement solutions.
- Conduct and manage analyses to identify issues and make recommendations for resolution.
- Collaborate with individuals inside and outside of own function to integrate projects and ensure changes work with other components of a specific project.
- Communicate across teams to provide status and information about impending obstacles and suggest remediation.
- Manage team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for small to mid-sized projects with minimal guidance.
- Re-scope projects, identify resources, delegate work, and review the work of team members to address changing timelines or priorities.

Requirements

Required
- Experience in execution of test methodologies for various technologies.
- Experience following and adapting established procedures or helping to define procedures as needed.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues or failures, reporting results, and recommending root causes and solutions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred
- Experience in performing set-up, maintenance, and/or repairs of specialized test equipment, and providing input on equipment selection.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams.
