We are looking for a skilled Java Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend systems and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Work with databases and optimize queries
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, Java 8+)
- Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot / Spring MVC / Hibernate
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
- Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
- Version control using Git
- Basic knowledge of Docker / CI-CD pipelines (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of Kafka / RabbitMQ for messaging
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in performance tuning and scalability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience Levels (Optional Customization)
- Junior (0–2 years): Basic Java, OOP, and database knowledge
- Mid-level (2–5 years): Hands-on with Spring Boot, APIs, microservices
- Senior (5+ years): System design, architecture, leadership
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit / Mockito
