About the Role

We are seeking a Tier 1 HR Advisor / Human Resource Assistant to support employees and managers with HR-related inquiries and Hire-to-Retire processes. This role will handle high-volume employee and manager interactions through phone, chat, text, and other communication channels. The ideal candidate will have HR experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to research issues and provide accurate, timely solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume incoming calls, chats, and texts in an HR service center/call center environment.
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies and Hire-to-Retire processes.
• Perform day-to-day transactional processing in Workday and other HR systems.
• Provide guidance and support related to Workday, Kronos, and other HR systems.
• Research inquiries using knowledge bases and desktop tools to identify accurate solutions.
• Listen carefully to callers, understand their concerns, and communicate appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain compliance with HR Operations Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Create and maintain complete and accurate records of employee interactions in the Case Management System.
• Document case notes professionally, including the issue and proposed resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 Service Center Specialists or the HR Service Center Manager when required.
• Identify recurring escalation trends and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist with improving HR communications and operational efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect employee and company information.
• Follow applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Provide professional, efficient, and courteous customer service.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.
• Interact effectively with a diverse employee and manager population at all organizational levels.

Required Skills

• Associate's degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an HR function, such as HR Administration, HR Generalist, or Talent Acquisition.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Understanding of cross-functional processes and process improvement.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an HR Service Center or call center environment.
• Experience with Workday, Kronos, or other HR systems.
• Experience handling employee/manager inquiries through phone, chat, or similar channels.
• Experience working with case management systems, SLAs, and KPIs.

Additional Details

• Duration: 12 months
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET
• Language Requirement: Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Fast-paced office environment.
• Hybrid position requiring at least 3 days onsite per week at the client's Boca Raton, FL office.
• Candidates must be available Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET.
• Shift will be assigned based on business coverage needs on the candidate's start date.
