Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift differential
Shift: 2nd shift, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday coverage during peak season
Experience Required: 3+ years in a warehouse, including 1+ year leading a team

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a shift team of 15 to 20 warehouse associates across receiving, picking and shipping.
• Plan daily labour against the volume forecast and hit shift throughput targets.
• Run shift start-up briefings and enforce safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and complete cycle counts.
• Coach associates, manage attendance and carry out first-line performance conversations.
• Keep WMS records accurate and hand over cleanly to the next shift.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution-centre experience.
• 1+ year supervising or leading a team.
• Hands-on experience with a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Current forklift certification, or willingness to certify within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand for the full shift.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
