The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and processing of specimens, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.Key Responsibilities:- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples from patients of all ages.- Verify patient identification and ensure accurate labeling of specimens.- Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis and ensure timely delivery to the lab.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy work areas and equipment.- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times.- Provide excellent patient care, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred.- Current certification as a Phlebotomist (CPT, RPT, or equivalent) is highly desirable.- Minimum of 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or a clinical laboratory setting preferred.- Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques, specimen handling, and safety protocols.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.Benefits:- Opportunities for career growth and advancement.- Collaborative and innovative work environment.- Access to cutting-edge technology and resources.- Supportive team culture that values diversity and integrity.Equal Opportunity Employer: Leoforce is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
