**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for technology, and the drive to build innovative solutions that power our AI-driven recruiting platform.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for our AI-powered recruiting platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Science, and UX/UI to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code primarily using JavaScript, Java, Python, and SQL.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure best practices in software engineering.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering or development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Java; experience with Python and SQL is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts or certifications.
