Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Department: Nursing / Patient Care

Reports To: Nurse Manager / Clinical Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical or hospital setting. The ideal candidate will assess patient needs, administer treatments and medications, collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and families, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, and document patients' health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications, injections, and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma/Associate Degree in Nursing (as applicable).
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred for certain specialties.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (preferred, depending on the role).
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and medical terminology.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialty certifications (e.g., ICU, ER, Pediatrics, Oncology, Labor & Delivery).
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
  • Experience in a hospital or specialty care setting.

Working Conditions

  • Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • May be required to lift or assist patients safely.
  • Exposure to infectious diseases and medical equipment in a healthcare environment.
