Job Description
We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead the quality assurance team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, managing QA processes, and driving continuous quality improvements across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and quality standards.
- Oversee manual and automation testing activities.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Monitor test execution, defect tracking, and release readiness.
- Establish and improve QA processes, metrics, and reporting.
- Drive automation initiatives and improve test coverage.
- Identify risks and ensure timely mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in software testing and QA methodologies.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
- Knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience in building and scaling QA teams.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
