We are looking to hire a contractor to support data and analytics work for a start-up team at DoorDash that works on building a point of sale system that we sell to restaurants.This is a very early stage team where we only have ~90 restaurants using the system, but we are growing fast. There are a mix of product analytics questions (i.e. how many restaurants are using this feature?) and business analytics questions (i.e. how can we improve our lead list for sales to make sure we select restaurants that are most likely to be interested in this product?)The analytics work required is to become an expert on the data model for this product, as well as general DoorDash business data, in order to create new foundational reporting to help us understand the business, and answer a variety of ad-hoc questions that come in about specific use cases. For example, if we have a restaurant write into customer support with a problem, how can we use data to validate the problem and learn from this to ensure no other restaurants have the same problem?The key skills we are looking for are:- Strong SQL skills- Experience with building dashboards, and designing the underlying data sources- Comfort with taking inbound ad-hoc requests, prioritizing them, and learning from them to identify areas to be proactive
