Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our Microsoft SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the availability, performance, security, and usability of SharePoint platforms while collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective collaboration and document management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments
- Manage site collections, sites, libraries, lists, and permissions
- Monitor system performance, storage, and usage; implement optimization and capacity planning
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance policies are enforced
- Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues and user incidents
- Support integration with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Manage user access, authentication, and identity integrations (Azure AD)
- Apply updates, patches, and service changes according to best practices
- Create and maintain SharePoint documentation, standards, and procedures
- Provide end-user training and technical support as needed
- Collaborate with developers and architects on custom solutions and enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server (2016/2019/Subscription Edition)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
- Understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, and governance
- Familiarity with PowerShell for SharePoint administration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, SC-900, MS-102)
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments
- ITIL or service management experience
