Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team onsite in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, with a strong background in modern QA tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Utilize Selenium and Playwright with TypeScript for automation of web application testing.
Perform API testing using REST Assured and other relevant tools.
Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure the quality and reliability of software releases through rigorous testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
Proficiency with Selenium and Playwright (TypeScript).
Strong experience in API testing, particularly with REST Assured.
Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
