Job Description

We're seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our growing team in Denver. In this role, you'll leverage advanced analytics and machine learning to transform how organizations discover and engage talent. You'll work with massive datasets to build predictive models that help recruiters find the perfect candidates faster and more efficiently.

**What You'll Do**

- Develop ML Models: Design and implement machine learning algorithms for talent matching, predictive analytics, and candidate scoring

- Data Analysis: Analyze large-scale recruitment data to identify patterns and insights that drive product improvements

- Algorithm Development: Create and optimize recommendation engines that match candidates with job opportunities

- A/B Testing: Design and execute experiments to validate model performance and business impact

- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable features

- Model Deployment: Deploy models into production environments and monitor performance

- Research: Stay current with the latest ML/AI research and apply relevant techniques to our talent acquisition platform

**Required Skills & Experience**

Must Have:

- 3-7 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles

- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy)

- Experience with SQL and relational databases

- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods

- Experience with data visualization tools (matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly)

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

Preferred:

- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in relevant field

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)

- Experience with NLP techniques for text analysis

- Familiarity with MLOps and model deployment

- Experience in HR tech or recruitment industry

**Technical Environment**

- Languages: Python, SQL, R

- Tools: Jupyter, Git, Docker, Airflow

- Cloud: AWS (SageMaker, EC2, S3)

- ML Frameworks: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost

- Data Stack: PostgreSQL, Redshift, MongoDB
