Title: Support Engineer III Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 12 Months Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and operate flight test instrumentation end-to-end Integrate sensors with vehicle systems (weight/balance, EMI, thermal testing) Manage vendor relationships and project budgets Provide troubleshooting support and develop contingency plans Create documentation and standard operating procedures Travel time requirements estimated at 10% Nice to haves Drone/UAV or aerospace testing experience Certification/regulatory testing knowledge Wind tunnel testing background Required Qualifications Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering 3-5+ years flight test instrumentation experience Hands-on sensor integration (accelerometers, strain gauges, thermocouples, cameras) Data acquisition systems and analysis expertise Key Required Technical Skills Flight test sensor integration and data reduction GNSS/DGNSS systems setup Electrical power systems and fault injection Environmental testing standards (DO-160G) CAD software proficiency Demonstrated ability to review test objectives and generate instrumentation plans to meet supporting data collection requirements.
