Pay Rate: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour
Shift: Day Shift, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST
Working Days: Monday through Friday
Experience Required: 5+ years

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services and web applications. You will work onsite in our New York office alongside product and QA teams, own features from design through deployment, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Build and enhance web application features end to end.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, C#, or Node.js).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
