Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and customizing ServiceNow modules, developing integrations, automating business processes, and supporting enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise in JavaScript, ServiceNow development, and platform administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Script Includes, and UI Actions.
  • Build and customize Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and Flow Designer workflows.
  • Configure and maintain ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics to support business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Follow ServiceNow development best practices, security standards, and governance policies.
  • Support platform upgrades, patch management, and release deployments.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and development processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with ServiceNow platform development and customization.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide API.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Catalog.
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management).
  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, and third-party system integrations.
  • Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, Asset Management, and Knowledge Management.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ITOM, ITAM, HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Customer Service Management (CSM), or Security Operations (SecOps).
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of Performance Analytics and Reporting.
  • Experience with source control and CI/CD pipelines.
