Job Title: Call Center Nurse RN – Part Time – Remote

Schedule: Part-time, 7:30am – 6pm Eastern, 2 days per week (Monday & Friday OR Wednesday & Thursday)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our remote call center team. In this part-time role, you will provide telephonic clinical support, patient education, and care coordination, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to inbound calls from patients, families, and healthcare providers, delivering professional nursing advice and triage.

- Assess patient needs, provide education, and coordinate care in accordance with established protocols.

- Document all interactions accurately in the electronic health record (Cerner).

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

- Adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy and maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.

Required Qualifications:

- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active, and unrestricted RN License in PA (state specific or compact).

- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience.

- Experience with electronic medical records system(s).

- Proven proficiency using MS Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).

- Ability to work part-time hours (7:30am - 6PM EST) on either Monday and Friday OR Wednesday and Thursday.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Telehealth nursing experience.

- Experience with Cerner electronic health records.
