About the Role

Our client, Hudson Valley Medical Center, is seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse (RN) to join their hospital and outpatient dialysis centers in New York. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, while collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team. Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and provide care to dialysis patients before, during, and after treatments.
• Administer medications and manage vascular access per protocol.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts and EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, nutrition, and self-care.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Minimum 2 years of dialysis nursing experience (hospital or outpatient preferred).
• Knowledge of hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and vascular access care.
• Strong patient care, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
