Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hadoop Developer to join our dynamic data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable big data solutions using the Hadoop ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement big data solutions using Hadoop and related technologies.

- Build and maintain data pipelines for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

- Optimize and troubleshoot Hadoop clusters and jobs for performance and reliability.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with company policies.

- Document technical solutions and processes for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, etc.).

- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Scala.

- Experience with data processing frameworks such as Hive, Pig, or Spark.

- Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts.

- Familiarity with data ingestion tools (e.g., Sqoop, Flume) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Relevant Hadoop certifications.
