Job Title: Desktop Support Technician – Entry Level Locations: Westlake, TX (primary) / Southlake, TX (as needed) Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Duration : 18 Months Department: Desktop Support – Internal Technology Services Reports To: Desktop Support Team Lead Job Summary Client is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Desktop Support Technician to join our Internal Technology Service Center. This role focuses on providing real-time technology support and fulfillment services (move, add, or change requests) to client's employees. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent customer service skills, and demonstrates a strong “can-do” attitude. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and personal printers. Perform system administration for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X desktops and laptops. Deliver phone and remote support as required. Deploy and reclaim computer equipment while maintaining accurate records in the asset management database . Document work and support activities using tools such as Remedy and Clarity . Work collaboratively with a team of Desktop Support Technicians in a large service center supporting over 6,000 users. Provide excellent customer service to Client's employees at multiple sites. Assist with move, add, or change requests for internal technology. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field OR 1–3 years of recent experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide Service Center environment. Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X technical support. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work at multiple sites as needed. Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with IT service management tools such as Remedy or Clarity . Previous experience in hardware deployment and asset management. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment.
