This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless order processing, maximizing operational efficiency, and enabling scalable growth in a fast-paced retail environment.The Operations Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, IT Systems, and Automation Engineering to improve workflow performance, reduce bottlenecks, enhance equipment uptime, and support the deployment of technological and process improvements.This position demands strong analytical abilities, hands-on problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in high-volume, fast-changing environments typical of e-commerce operations.Key Responsibilities:Operational Support & Process OptimizationMonitor daily warehouse and fulfillment operations to ensure on-time order processing, accuracy, and throughput.Analyze process flow across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.Implement Lean and Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste and improve process speed, accuracy, and productivity.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent operational performance.Support the introduction and scaling of automation technologies such as conveyor systems, sortation equipment, robotics, and smart material-handling tools.Qualifications and Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.Experience:2–5 years of experience in operations, process engineering, supply chain, or warehouse engineering preferably in a retail, e-commerce, or distribution environment.
