Title: IT Architect - Architecture Consultant Duration: 6 Months (High Possibility of extension) Location: Toronto, Ontario (Onsite 2 days a week) Key Deliverables & Responsibilities: Develop technical solutions within the Treasury Payments Services line of business Solution Architect will develop a Conceptual Solution to help inform an estimate of work, so that a decision whether to move forward to the project stage can be made During project execution phase, the Solution Architect will document the complete solution artifacts adhering to the Technology Roadmap, Enterprise Strategy and follow the process to get Governance approvals SA is the key technology point of contact to interact with peers in other technology groups, Info Security and Enterprise Architecture Must Haves: Overall 8+ years of work experience in the role of a Solution Architect, preferably in Banking & Financial Domain but from a large corporate environment. Experience documenting large complex solutions that span multiple systems and interfaces. Present and defend Solution architecture in Architecture Governance Forums. Knowledge and proficiency in Architecture Modelling languages & tools like ArchiMate, UML, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint. Functional knowledge in following business banking domains to be able to support requirement or issue analysis: Online Banking Mobile Banking Payment Systems (ACH, EFT, Email Money Transfer, Real Time Payments, etc.) Payment Gateways (API or File based) Treasury Products(Lockbox, etc. Other Technical Skills : Systems Integration OAuth2.0 / OpenID Connect Authentication framework SAML2.0 Integration with 3rd Party web applications (Full stack) from Portals API Security Design, standardization to Industry standards (ISO 20022, FDX, etc.) Web services (SOAP, REST) File based data transfers Knowledge of API Gateways capabilities like IBM API Connect, AWS API Gateway Nice To Have: Banking/Financial Industry AI experience Education/Certifications: Certified AWS Solution Architect with hands on experience in architecting solutions for deployment in AWS will be strongly preferred.
