Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based Job Opening
Location: Dekalb, IL
Job Details
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Setting: Public school
- Start Date: Based on availability
- Caseload: Will be discussed during the interview
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
- Active or pending Illinois OT license
- Experience in schools or pediatric settings is a plus
- Open to new graduates
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEPs
- Deliver therapy services to students in small group or 1:1 sessions
- Maintain documentation for services, progress, and compliance with IDEA
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to support student success
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Promote student independence and participation in the educational setting
- Follow all district, state, and federal guidelines for therapy services
