Job Description

**Job Title:** Quality Engineer **Location:** All over USA (Onsite, not remote) **Company:** Adient**Summary:** As a Quality Engineer at Adient, you will support plant operations by addressing quality issues and concerns related to assigned models or production lines. You will be responsible for investigating root causes, developing both temporary and permanent countermeasures, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.**Key Responsibilities:**- Provide quality support for plant operations, responding promptly to quality issues reported internally or externally (supplier or customer).- Investigate the nature of quality issues, collect and analyze data, and determine root causes.- Develop and implement effective temporary and permanent countermeasures using appropriate resources and tools.- Utilize quality core tools to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with industry standards.- Interact effectively with plant management, operations teams, supporting functional teams, and customers to resolve quality concerns.- Prepare and present reports, documentation, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.**Education, Experience, and Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s degree with at least five (5) years of manufacturing quality engineering experience, OR associate degree with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience.- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the automotive environment is desired.- Strong written and oral communication skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and medium to strong Excel skills.- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.- Experience working with plant management, operations, and customers with a focus on prompt responsiveness.- Knowledge of quality core tools (such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).**Why Join Adient?**- Career Growth: Opportunities for professional and personal advancement in a global leader in automotive seating.- Cutting-Edge Technology: Work with innovative manufacturing processes and quality systems.- Collaborative Environment: Join a diverse, high-performing team committed to excellence.- Employee Empowerment: Be part of a culture that values respect, integrity, and continuous improvement.
