Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Python to join our data-driven team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that support business decision-making and operational improvements.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and visualizing data to drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and business strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT to build dashboards, reports, and predictive models.

This position requires an individual with a strong foundation in data analytics, visualization, and database querying, as well as a passion for using data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to present business performance and key insights.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (e.g., relational databases, APIs, cloud systems).
  • Must have strong hands-on experience with NumPy, Conduct data analysis using Python (Pandas, Matplotlib) for trend identification, anomaly detection, and forecasting.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, define metrics, and automate recurring reports.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of analytical outputs.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to optimize data pipelines and warehouse structures.
  • Create and document reusable data models and standard operating procedures for analytics processes.
  • Use statistical analysis and data mining techniques to provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and reporting processes using Python scripts or Power BI scheduled refreshes.
  • Monitor and evaluate business KPIs to measure success, efficiency, and identify areas of improvement.
  • Present analytical findings to non-technical audiences through visual storytelling, executive summaries, and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis (joins, subqueries, aggregations).
  • Advanced experience with Power BI for dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX functions, and report automation.
  • Working knowledge of Python for analytics (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and data quality issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure Data Studio, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or AWS Redshift.
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA) for quick data manipulation and presentation.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) is a plus.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance principles.
  • Exposure to Power Automate or other workflow automation tools.
  • Ability to perform predictive analytics and develop data-driven recommendations.

💰 Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience and skills).
