Position Summary:
The Electrical CAD Technician will support technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers to create world-class detail on a variety of projects. This role involves developing computer-aided drafting design solutions and assisting in the preparation and revision of engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.
• Assist with preparing and revising plot drawings.
• Adhere to company and client drafting standards and procedures.
• Follow drafting practices of the selected discipline.
• Draft design and documentation for various projects.
• Utilize standard drafting detail programs for assigned tasks.
• Participate in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.
• Research and recommend solutions to project concerns and design problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED and coursework in drafting technology.
• Specialized CAD certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with an aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
