Job Description

Position Title: Quality Control Technician I Work Location: 600 Chesapeake Drive, Redwood City, CA, USA 94063 Assignment Duration: 6 months Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: This position, reporting to Quality Engineering Manager, is responsible for inspection, product lot release, NCMR activities and record maintenance. Key Responsibilities: • Quality Inspection and Product Release: Inspection of incoming components, subassemblies, and finished product. Review and approve all lot history records and sterile load records to ensure product compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. • Quality Records: Ensure that quality records are maintained according to the quality requirements and company SOP • Non-conforming Material: Generate and distribute periodic reports and follow-ups. Identify and escalates issues as needed. • Testing: May assist in design verification and validation testing for company products in accordance with Company Quality Systems and regulatory requirements • Other Duties as assigned Qualification & Experience: • Associate technical degree or equivalent • 1 year experience in Quality Technician position. • Understanding of GMP, 21CFR820, ISO 13485, and MDD • 1-3 years experience in precision mechanical inspection • Ability to understand schematics, drawing, BOM’s and test processes • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) required. • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems highly desirable • Able to interact with peers and able to use computer to process work orders. • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and basic understanding of SolidWorks. • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal). • Ability to work independently or in team setting environment. • Ability to lift objects that may weigh up to 30 pounds Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable): • ?? The quality technician role is intended to support the inspectors as we ramp up our production.
